Cookies, fonts and audience measurement

No account is needed to read the public articles. We embed no advertising trackers, externally loaded fonts or newsletter forms. We use Vercel Web Analytics without cookies to understand how pages are used. It processes the requested URL, the referring page and coarse country, browser and device information. Measurement runs only on the public reader pages; the legal notice and privacy pages are not measured. Query parameters and URL fragments are removed before sending. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; the legitimate interest is knowing which texts are read. The optional preview login sets the necessary si-session cookie for up to seven days; it stores proof of access, not a reader profile. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR together with § 25(2)(2) TDDDG for the login function expressly requested by the visitor. A cookie retained from the preview can be removed in browser settings.

Email contact

When you email us, we process your email address and message to handle your enquiry, using Google’s Gmail service. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, or Article 6(1)(b) for contractual enquiries. Messages are deleted once the enquiry is resolved and no retention duty or need to protect legal claims remains. Our RSS feed are available without registration and involve the hosting processing described above. Source links lead to other websites. Your browser connects to those providers when you follow a link; their privacy notices then apply.
